Important Update: Changes to Boarding Services at Ashridge

Starting from the 1st March, Ashridge Cattery and Kennels will transition to fully private boarding exclusively for existing clients. Unfortunately, I will no longer be able to accept new clients.

What’s New?

Additional staff will no longer be available and I will now only be taking a strictly limited number of pets at any given time,  including holiday periods. This ensures that each animal receives the highest level of personalised care. With far fewer dogs boarding at once, they’ll enjoy nearly unlimited access to our grassed yards during the day. Well-behaved dogs will also have the opportunity for supervised exercise and playtime in our expansive 2.5-acre paddock.

Updated Pricing (effective 1st March):

• Cats: $25.00 per day/part day (includes arrival and departure days, regardless of drop-off/pick-up times).

• Dogs: $50.00 per day/part day, regardless of size (includes arrival and departure days, regardless of drop-off/pick-up times).

• Discounts no longer apply to multiple pets.

Payment Options:

• Direct bank deposit to the Ashridge account

• Cash (no EFTPOS or card payments available)

Food Arrangements:

• Dogs: Ashridge will provide Royal Canin biscuits or Prime 100 roll. If your dog requires a specific food or prescription diet, you will need to bring their own in a sealed, well-labeled container (no discounts apply). Please account for increased activity levels while boarding—many dogs eat approximately 30% more than usual.

• Cats: A wide range of biscuits and wet food is provided. For specialized or prescription diets, please bring food in sealed, well-labeled containers.

Additional Services:

• Grooming can be arranged during boarding, but please notify Candice at Diva Dogs well in advance so that bookings can be made. 

Note: Dogs must arrive in good coat condition (no overgrown or matted fur will be accepted.

• Courier services will be up to the client to arrange and make payment for. Ashridge will no longer be making bookings for courier services

Health & Safety Requirements:

• All pets must be flea-treated and wormed prior to boarding.

• Up-to-date vaccination records must be presented at drop-off.

Opening Hours:

• Boarding Pets: Drop-off and collection strictly by appointment only.

• Daycare Dogs:

Drop-off: 7:00–8:00 AM

Collection: 4:00–5:00 PM

• Closed: Saturday and Sunday mornings
